Kanica, Rogoznica & Dalmatia

Kanica is a small tourist resort in the municipality of Rogoznica in the south of Šibenik-Knin County in Croatia. It is located in the deep natural bay of the same name and is 11 km away from Rogoznica. The place is ideal for a quiet, peaceful, and pleasant family vacation.

Due to its location and extremely mild Mediterranean climate, Kanica is an ideal place for a holiday all year round. For guests looking for a more active vacation, Kanica offers hiking and biking trails, diving, fishing, water skiing, and in the bay you can rent a pedal boat and kayak. Kanica is characterized by rocky beaches with small private concrete waterfronts in front of houses along the entire coast of the bay and a beautiful main pebble-sandy beach in the center, where is located restaurant and coffee bar.

The lack of large summer crowds, crowds of guests, and noise, as well as calm and quiet summer nights, create ideal conditions for a true vacation. The harmony of sun, stone, and crystal clear sea and the distance from the main tourist destinations are the best invitation to discover this little magical Dalmatian place.

Rogoznicais a popular tourist destination on the Dalmatian coast in Croatia, located in the southernmost part of Šibenik-Knin County. It is located in a deep natural bay protected from wind and big waves, about 30 km south of Sibenik.

We definitely recommend visiting the open-air sea aquarium, lavender maze, and salt lake Dragon's eye. This salt lake is located on the Gradina peninsula and is a unique hydrogeomorphological phenomenon surrounded by rocks 4 to 24 meters high, up to 15 meters deep.

On more than 54 kilometers of coastline along the entire bay, there are numerous pebble, rocky, but also hidden beaches where all-day relaxation and an unforgettable vacation are guaranteed. One of the most beautiful and most attractive beaches in Rogoznica is the pebble beach Šepurine, which has the Blue Flag due to the clean sea and the beach.

Visit Primošten, Vinišće, Marina, Trogir, and Split – the surrounding towns, where you can see cultural monuments and enjoy beautiful coves, restaurants, taverns, nightclubs, and discotheque. You can also visit famous national parks Krka and Kornati.
